A vintage of excellence

Produced in very small quantities, Terres de la Baume is a remarkable example of the potential of the Languedoc Roussillon in terms of sheer quality. This exceptional range has been created in honour of the wines produced from the finest plot on the estate named “Terre de la Baume”.
These two vintages are the fruit of a stringent selection process driven by the estate’s own team, and they both express our loftiest vision of quality. 12 months of maturing in French oak barrels has underwritten the development of the complexity of these wines. The barrels used for both vintages were very carefully selected prior to final blending.
It is really a pleasure to present a wine such as “Terre de la Baume”.

VIOGNIER CHARDONNAY: FRESHNESS OF LANGUEDOC TERROIR

GRAPE VARIETY: 70% Viognier / 30% Chardonnay
SOIL: Silt, clay and limestone
COLOUR: Golden with pale green hints.
BOUQUET: Intense on notes of vanilla and crème brûlée, with richer notes of dried apricots and orange blossom intermingling.
PALATE: Round and rich, freeing  avours of exotic fruits, lime zest and citrus fruit jam. The freshness persists in the  nish, supported by elegant woody overtones.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Dark red with violet re ections.
SERVE: 10°C
CELLAR LIFE: 4 to 5 years

SYRAH CABERNET: THE POWER OF TERROIR

GRAPE VARIETY: 55% Syrah, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon
SOIL: Clay and limestone hills
COLOUR: Dark red with violet reflections
BOUQUET: Complex aromas of coffee, blackberries and garrigue (Mediterranean scrub).
PALATE: Full, suave and silky smooth, revealing aromas of chocolate, preserved dark fruit and violets. A long finish underlines the maturity of the grapes.
RECOMMENDATIONS: The perfect accompaniment for Mediterranean cooking: grilled meats, steaks with pepper and medium cheeses.
SERVE: 16° to 18°C
CELLAR LIFE: 5 to 10 years
